Two Master of Education in Social Studies students of the Division of Professional Education (ProfEd) represented the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) in the International Field School Program organized by the Asia-Pacific Higher Education Network for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage (APHEN-ICH), Korea National University of Cultural Heritage, Buyeo, Republic of Korea from August 16-18, 2021.

UP Visayas, through the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (UPV-CFOS)   and the Research Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Mate (HAKI-MATE), Hungary, kicked off a collaboration with a joint webinar-workshop on September 21, 2021.

The University of the Philippines Visayas and the Local Government Unit of Pandan signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the implementation of the project “Tourism Initiatives Anchored on Local History and Culture” on September 30, 2021, at Pandan, Antique with UP Visayas Chancellor Clement Camposano and Pandan, Antique Mayor Plaridel Sanchez VI. Signing as witnesses were Sashah Dioso of the UPV Center for West Visayan Studies and Vice Mayor Raymund Nonato Gumboc.
