The Graduate Program Office, in partnership with Psychological Association of the Philippines, conducted a Workshop on Qualitative Researching on March 2, 2019 at Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City. This was attended by at least 30 graduate faculty, students, and alumni of the University of the Philippines Visayas College of Arts and Sciences, College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, and College of Management.
This workshop is one of the Academic Program Improvement (API) projects of the Graduate Program Office and the first of a series of workshops to be conducted by the Graduate Program Office this year. Its objective is to enhance graduate faculty and students’ research capability, specifically strengthen their knowledge and skills on qualitative approach to doing research.
The facilitators were Dr. Mira Alexis Ofreneo and Dr. Nico Canoy of Ateneo de Manila University.
