The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Health Services Unit (HSU) personnel are participating in the Community Health Information Tracking System (CHITS) training from January 24-26, 2024.
CHITS is a Philhealth-certified electronic medical record (EMR) system that will help reduce the patient’s waiting time and improve monitoring of patient care through efficient data storage, encoding, and data retrieval.
Mr. Arturo M. Ongkeko Jr. from the National Telehealth Center, National Institute of Health, University of the Philippines Manila and the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Pivotal Peak Digital Health Solution, Inc. (PPDHSI), and his team are facilitators of the training.
The training is made possible through the collaborative effort between the Digital Innovation Center (DIC) under its director Prof. Rhea Subong-Espina and the UPV Health Services Unit.
