The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV), through its Appraisal and Disposal Committee, facilitated the donation of furniture classified as “unserviceable” by the various academic units of the College of Arts and Sciences.
The turnover ceremony was held at the PPO Bodega, UPV Miagao campus on June 10, 2024, to formalize the transfer of the property. The donation included classroom chairs, office tables, wooden cabinets/shelves, and hospital beds.

The program was attended by Mr. Romer Aguja, UPV’s Internal Auditor, together with his staff, faculty and personnel representing the schools, and members of the Appraisal and Disposal Committee headed by Ms. Emiliza C. Lozada.
