The St. Theresa's College (STC) of Cebu visited the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Miagao campus for a benchmarking activity on June 14, 2024.
Faculty members from the Basic Education Department of STC of Cebu aimed to obtain insights and best practices to enhance the department’s academic programs and administrative processes.
Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension Prof. Encarnacion Emilia Yap; Dr. Sheila Javier, Office of Student Affairs Deputy Director and Guidance and Counselling Services Unit Coordinator; and Engr. Rico Hortillo, Information Technology Officer of the Digital Innovations Center, served as the presenters.
The topics included academic program development and research and development; student service support; and technology integration in education.
Ms. Angeles Generale, Basic Education Principal, led the group of faculty members from STC of Cebu, a catholic institution of learning founded by the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (ICM) that offers all levels of instruction for girls from preparatory to college.
