Two teams composed of seven third year BS in Management students from the College of Management, University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) clinched two spots in the Top 10 of the Blue Case Competition (BCC) 2025: HorizonShift. The finals stage was held last 12 April 2025 at the Globe Tower, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila.
Team Blue Knights (Reyzel Ann Montaniel, Andrea Mae Rosano, and Gerard Julian Yucon) and Team Ctrl Alt Delight (Alysza Faith Almirante, Angelo Jason Ang, Niño Claire Obenza, and Katrina Shane Pamposa), proudly demonstrated honor, excellence, and regional pride as they pitched their proposals, embodying UPV’s growing competitiveness in national arenas with the assistance of coaches Mary Ann Sedero and Ellaine Rae Dela Cruz.
BCC is organized annually by the Ateneo Blue Consulting Group as a stage for college and senior high school students from various disciplines to take part in the consulting process and create innovative, cutting-edge solutions. Themed “HorizonShift” and co-presented by Globe, this year’s case competition registered 60 teams from across the country. With a focus on digital connection and differentiation, this year’s case challenge focused on the case partner’s goal as a travel essential in an increasingly connected world.
This feat marks another significant milestone for UPV in the league of case competitions and strategic problem-solving, highlighting the university’s dedication to honing globally competitive and socially conscious future business leaders.
