The new officials of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (CFOS), the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and the Graduate School (GS) took their oath of office before Chancellor Clement Camposano at the Office of the Chancellor, University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Miagao campus on May 24, 2024.
Dr. Harold Monteclaro, Prof. Pepito Fernandez, Jr., and Dr. Rodelio Subade took their oath as the new deans of CFOS, CAS, and GS, respectively.
Also taking their oath were Asst. Prof. Lhumen Tejano, CFOS College Secretary, and the CFOS institute directors - Dr. Victor Marco Emmanuel Ferriols, Institute of Aquaculture Director; Dr. Rhoda Mae Simora, Institute of Fish Processing Technology Director; Prof. Caridad Jimenez, Institute of Fisheries Policy and Development Studies Director; and Dr. Cristy Acabado, Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanology Director.
Likewise, Dr. Danilo Ortillo took his oath as the Associate Dean of CAS and Dr. Alice Prieto-Carolino as the CAS College Secretary.
These officials will serve three-year terms, with varying dates of effectivity:
