Position: University Research Associate I, SG 12-1 (UP Contractual)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
- Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility
Required Competencies:
- With intermediate knowledge and skills in business and science;
- With advanced knowledge and skills in industry collaborations/networking; Relevant degree should be in Food Technology or other related sciences;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision;
- Exemplifies and maintains the social, ethical, and organizational norms in UP, in accordance with the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (RA 6713) and other relevant laws in the civil service;
- Delivers academic excellence and/or exemplary administrative services to students, clients, and other stakeholders, embodying the University's core values of "Honor, Excellence, and Service."

Job Description:
- Liaise with the office of DTI, Chamber of Commerce, and other relevant business organizations and prospect industry partners
- Compile and assess all existing UPV-generated technologies for commercialization prioritization
- Assist Technology Generators in securing the Feasibility Study, Market Study, Business Plan, and IP Valuation of UPV Technologies
- Prepare Technology Commercialization Plan of priority technology for commercialization
- Co-facilitate Technology Readiness Level (TRL) improvement of UPV Technologies
- Co-organize Technology Promotion and Commercialization-related forums, trainings, and exhibits
