The Information and Publications Office, UP Visayas, Miagao, Iloilo is in need of:
University Research Associate I (SG-12)
Monthly Salary: P24,495.00
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of BA Journalism and related fields
- Has experience in working in a media facility (print/broadcast/online)
- With Career Service (Professional / Second Level Eligibility)
Preference:
- Has excellent command of written and spoken Filipino and English languages
- Has excellent technical editing skills
- Has IT skills (preferably knowledgeable in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop)
- Has strong Wi-Fi signal for WFH tasks
- Willing to be assigned on field for coverage and research for UPVs print and online publications
- Willing to work in UPV Miagao, Iloilo Campus on a full time basis
Job Description:
- Organize and categorize archival data available at the IPO
- Research on historical data for compilation and use by the IPO and other UPV / UP System units
- Write reports based on research and come up with informative materials on UPV
- Cover and document university events
- Produce video and other multi-media materials for the university
- Assist in the other tasks in the IPO (e.g. newswriting, lay-outing of IPO publications, tour guiding, etc.)
