Science Research Analyst I

Position: Science Research Analyst I, SG-11 (UP Contractual)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
• Career Service (Professional) / 2nd Level Eligibility

 Preferred Competencies:

1. Preferably with Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with professional Chemist’s License
2. Ability to thrive in high throughput environment; excellent laboratory skills; with strong
   instrumentation background
3. Effective team player, meticulous, quality–oriented

Job Summary: 

Conduct of routine laboratory analysis and service in respective laboratory assignment 

Job Description:

• Perform routine analyses to established methods including AOAC, EPA, FDA, and other national and international standards
• Provide analytical testing services to meet the needs of academic, government and industry clients.
• Conduct method validation and method verification studies on laboratory methods
• Establish and maintain laboratory quality assurance protocols including equipment calibration and
  maintenance
• Assist/Facilitate in technical trainings to be conducted by RRC as needed
• Perform other related duties as required by the immediate supervisor
• Facilitate procurement process of laboratory supplies, equipment, and consumables
