Minimum Qualifications:

Required Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or any allied courses;
- Licensed Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Materials Engineer, or any related field with relevant professional licenses;
- With strong background in analytical methods a11d instrumentation;
- Able to thrive in a high throughput environment and an effective team player;
- Exposure to an educational research institution or chemical industry;
- With functional knowledge in laboratory work and the use of various material characterization instruments (e.g., SEM-EDS, AFM, TGA-DSC. and spectroscopy instruments);
- Public service-oriented, with good communication and computer skills, trainable, fast-learner, critical-thinker, and self-motivated that requires only minimal supervision.
Job Summary:
Conduct of routine laboratory analysis and service in respective laboratory assignment
Job description:
- Perform routine sample processing and use of equipment services to various stakeholders such as faculty, students, and researchers;
- Perform regular maintenance of various laboratory instruments, equipment, and facilities; perform instrument validation, verification, and calibration ab ;1eeded; and ensure that all sample preparation equipment and analytical instruments and tools are in good condition, regularly calibrated, cleaned, and are operational;
- Facilitate the procurement process of laboratory supplies, equipment, and consumables; and updating of inventories;
- Prepare new and/or improve existing laboratory protocols and procedures for efficient operations and improved training services;
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, sample processing, and maintenance logs;
- Assist/facilitate in technical trainings conducted by RRC;
- Perform additional tasks delegated by the University Researcher in-charge and/or RRC Director.

- Certificate of attendance to relevant formal or non-formal training courses, seminars and HRD interventions attended or from the point of the last promotion;
- Certificate of employment issued by HRMO or authorized official (only for work experience relevant to the job);
- Recommendation letter from present and/or previous employer or professors;
- Certification of Awards/Citations/Commendation (has not been credited for last promotion) and Innovations/Systems Improvements;
- Certification of public service rendered (training program, technical assistance and advisory, information services, community outreach services, innovations and technology transfer services and direct extension services).
